St. John Youth Shoe Ministry St. John has used funds from our Fair Parking to purchase shoes for children around Darke County in need of shoes. We pray for that these children will be blessed and encouraged by this gift.
Summer 2022 Mission. Thank you to all who were involved in supporting the Kentucky Disaster Relief Mission Trip! A presentation will be made the first Sunday in October about this ministry.
Pay It Forward. St. John periodically sets aside funds to be given to two or three member families. The funds are given so that families can help others in some way. After the families help others, they report back to the congregation what was done with the funds. This is a way for members to entrust money to fellow members, and to trust that they discern how the Lord is leading them to "pay it forward".
Grace Resurrection Community Center (GRCC). St. John supports with volunteers and funding this important mission in Greenville. The GRCC provides food for the hungry, drink to the thirsty, clothing for the naked, shelter for the homeless, health care for the indigent sick and a Christian atmosphere to provide or further relationships with Christ by being of service to all people of Darke County in need. Stamp Collection Ministry
As in the past, we will resume our stamp collecting efforts for the Sisters of the Holy Cross Charity. Stamps should be mint (uncanceled), and in very good condition leaving 1/4 inch around the stamp. They are particularly interested in Foreign stamps, U.S. Commemoratives and stamps with postage value $1 or more. We will continue to do this until further notice. Lorri Stephens is the contact person.
Thrivent Action Teams
St. John is involved in periodic Thrivent Action Teams to serve our community with collections for local ministries or sharing Bibles and resources with our community. If you have an idea for a Thrivent Action Team or a ministry you'd love to see St. John involved with please get in contact with Pastor Alliyah.
Baby Blankets for Rustic Hope Ministry
This year, women of the church crocheted Baby Blankets in conjunction with a Bible Study led by Laura Gower and Amanda Hill. We were able to bring 50 of these blankets to Rustic Hope in Russia, OH - a ministry that serves mothers in need where they will be distributed. Thank you for all who contributed to this project!

BLESSING OF THE Prayer Shawls
Prayer Shawl Ministry
In May, we prayed over the prayer shawls that ladies of St. John have worked on making this last year. These shawls will be given to those in need of extra prayer during the year, coordinated by the Internal Care Team.
